Unique New Zealand Vacation Resort
For those travelers who have a love for planes, trains, yachts and the Lord of the Rings movies, there is a unique New Zealand vacation resort that artfully combines all four.
Located in Otoronhanga, New Zealand, the Woodlyn Park resort gives guests the chance to spend a night in a hobbit hut, an up-cycled World War II bomber, a remodeled train, or a refurbished ship. The airplane was one of the last allied planes to leave Vietnam, and each hobbit hut is engineered with polystyrene blocks to ensure that they stay cool in the summer and warm in the winter. The entire complex is situated on a sheep farm, and is also home to a bar and a stage area where guests can shear a sheep or watch pigs dance.
